I noticed it doesn't show "banned" or anything. The name looks active. So they mute your account and you just...go away. Whoever is left that is not banned should post the damage so others can see the nonsense. What's funny is their conservative forum is very minimally active. There have been days when the new LNF was FAR more active with respect to posting activity than their safe space. I'm sure that pissed them off. Several weeks ago, they changed my password so I couldn't log on, the cowardly swine. Not that I blame them, but why so cowardly? That's the Walkytall ban. |

Hey yall, when you get settled in and everything, let me know if you'd like me to shut down "The New Liberty Forum" www.blueridgedebate.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17. I had that as a placeholder as people realized that Solar was going to do what he did eventually where people could talk safely. I didn't give shiat if it interfered with Solar's rankings, but I've obviously always had a soft spot for you guys. Also if you need someone with experience hosting, and have questions or anything, let me know. I'll be easier to find on BRD though. I'm probably not going to check here often. From experience you should get off this "free" stuff as soon as possible, they will turn it off without notice especially if you're not a fit with their advertisers, which politics is usually not. Good to see so many familiar handles. I sure hope this is the last of our LNF Trail of Tears marches. Feet are getting sore. Thanks again Fids for setting this up. I actually went ahead and registered a free board too when I saw Solar and Taxed begun their drama. I've been messing with it, pretty clean, similar to this one, and will keep as a standby/backup. Like you, I don't have the time to properly manage a site, although w/LNF we're pretty laissez-faire, so no modding would work most of the time. We (here) even have a Demos thread again! It's coming together, lol! Ah, Mojo! Like a breath of Appalachian spring you are to me. |

Made it! Is it possible to recreate the dysfunction and fun that was LNF? A unique little old-school discussion board that outlived so many others and the evolving ways we communicate online. I must be old because the BBS/message board format is perfect for the sorts of discussions/debates/banter I enjoy, over the newer social media systems. :/ I'm feeling a "get off my lawn!" building up! Thanks again for the head's up on this place, hope we can get enough peeps back together to attain critical mass. Hey Mojo! LABOASYATM! How did you get on LNF before almost everyone else?
