Some people on television appear "nice," but over time, the ugly side is revealed (yes, you, Ellen Degeneres and James Corbin).
Here are the top 3 "nicest people on television":
1) Mister Rogers
2) Bob Ross
3) Alex Trebek
Alex Trebek gets knocked to third both by just being "outniced" by Mister Rogers and Bob Ross, but also for this vicious (anomalous?) takedown:

Wow! The last time I saw him (and maybe the first) was on "Cheers" (the show) and he looked way younger than that! Now he looks like he belongs in a nursing home.
He's lucky I wasn't the contestant because that's what I would've said.
Personally, I think being a show host is a job like any other, you don't have to be yourself, anymore than any of us has to be ourselves when we are at work.

Personally, I think being a show host is a job like any other, you don't have to be yourself, anymore than any of us has to be ourselves when we are at work. There are some outtakes online with him swearing for fun. He did that job for a very, very long time, and brought a flair that no replacement could duplicate. He passed away in 2020. |
