Well, that doesn't surprise me at all given the tendency of most people to wear blinders when it comes to people they like (children, loved ones, celebrities, what have you). Ever notice how hard it is to convince a woman/girl that the man she thinks the world of is no good, even when the evidence is there? It usually takes for her to be personally betrayed by said man before she wises up. Don't tell me you've never seen that. |
