"The whale one" (Star Trek IV) wasn't "the best Star Trek," but it was probably the most entertainingly accessible for a non-Trekkie. The best ones with the original actors were the even-numbered ones, IMO. I like them all, though. Even TFF?

The Final Frontier? That was Star Trek V, and easily the worst Star Trek movies for a lot of reasons...don't get me started on that...

Here's an interpretation: It starts with the guys sitting around the fire, singing, "Row, row, row your boat..." Then the "story" happens. It finishes with them around the fire singing that song again. The whole thing was a "fireside story"..."life is but a dream." There, fixed it for you.

It's been so long since I saw ST: 5, I didn't remember that scene. There were occasional funny moments, though. As I said, the even numbered films were the best.

Directed by Shatner, written by Shatner. The screenplay sucked and it sucked. www.imdb.com/title/tt0098382/

The cinematography sucked. The acting sucked. Now you go... Uhura's dancing sucked. She was a couple of decades too old to make that appealing.

The cinematography sucked. The acting sucked. Now you go... It was below fanfic quality, for a movie that cost a fortune at that time. Where did the money go?
