On the road again Archie. Greg Nice Greg. My kids don't want me to ride anymore. You shouldn't. I made my dad sell his Harley a couple years ago. If you happen to wreck, you're old and it's not gonna be fun. He offered me his bike, but I turned it down. I love motocross, but riding on the street is scary af. Bunch of idiot drivers. I've got my 500 HP toy I'm currently sitting in(early for a chiro appointment), so I don't need a street bike. |

He offered me his bike, but I turned it down. I love motocross, but riding on the street is scary af. Bunch of idiot drivers. I had a 400cc Husqvarna, and a 250cc Montesa. I loved it. My drag bike was a Harley Sportster. It was bored and stroked too 77cu. Inches if I remember right. 3and1/4 bore and a 4 5/8 stroke. I did 128mph in 11 seconds. That was fast a long time ago. My brother with a bigger Harley engine steel cylinders a big bore running on fuel, 168 mph in 9.2 seconds. That was fast a long time ago. We had the second fastest in the world. Number one was a man in California. We both got beat by the guy that put two Honda engines in a special frame and got into the 8 seconds ¼ mile. |

Hey, Archie... I used to report (early on-line) on AFM races. Road bikes, not drag. It was fun while it lasted. Still have three road bikes, but haven't ridden any of them for at least five years.

Here are my motorcycle rides:
First bike: bought this new: 1983 GPz 550 (Kawasaki). I rode this a lot. Good bike.
Second bike: Got this used around 1989: 1987 Honda VFR 700. Rode this even more. Beautiful bike.
Third bike: 1970 Yamaha DS6B. Picked this up around 1995. Two stroke wonder. Bought this from a friend. I enjoyed filling the air with 2 stroke smoke, LOL. It's a little squirrelly, but that's OK.
