Death Valley park still closed on October 2, 2023. It might reopen October 15.

Blue sky, twenty five Celsius. I once heard someone describe it as October in Florida... Wait, that's funny.

Where I am today, it's about 75F, blue sky. Quite lovely. Might get warmer in a few days.

Indeed, isn't that nice? Which is a close by city by the way.

Never been to France. Yet. Been to Ireland, on business, where I had a company car to go touring. As I recall, it was summer, so the temps were not too low. I'd love to see France, esp. since I'm told the family has some French Canadian ancestry. Come to think of it, never been to Canada, either. Quebec would be nice (at least in the summer). Also some Ukrainian ancestry, which probably would not be a great place to visit until the current difficulties are resolved. If ever. Probably Putin needs to go first.

I spend about ninety percent of my time in France, it used to be sixty percent but the more time passes the more I get everything I need from this wonderful country.

If it's not too much to ask, where were you born and raised?

Here in the SF Bay Area, we've had a short break from the imminent fall weather. First there was a bit of rain, and now it's gotten a lot warmer today. Should go on for a few days. Not too shabby!
