Just heard some fighter planes arrive, about 10 minutes before 7 pm.
They were LOUD.
Should be interesting for the next eight or so days.
I might even try to attend one of the shows. Could be fun!
And the weather looks like it will be perfect: temps up to the 80's, no storms. Yay.

Probably whatever carrier fighter jets the US Navy uses, albeit likely with some mods for air show usage and just as likely without any ammo or bombs.
I suppose I could look it up. So could you.

All the F-18 Super Hornets just flew within viewing and hearing range. Landing gear extended.

Well, Fleet Week is over (has been since the end of the day Tuesday). I have to admit I was getting a bit tired of the noise. But it's for a good cause. Can't remember what the cause is, of course. LOL. They will probably be back in a year.
