So my main fantasy football team looked in bad shape yesterday. I was down by 20 points, and I had only one player left to play: the Dallas Cowboys defense. The D/ST was only projected to score 7.2 points heading into the Sunday Night game against the NY Giants. But lo and behold, Dallas completely shut down the Giants, 40-0! The defense wound up giving me 35 points! My opponent still had one player left - Dalvin Cook of the Jets - so I watched today’s game hoping he wouldn’t score any TDs. He didn’t. He wound up with only 7.5 points, giving me the WIN! Any of you playing fantasy football? I am in three leagues. The main one is with my family (Scott, my Dad, my brothers, my nephews and nieces). I am also participating in Scott’s workplace league and Scott’s friends’ league. I won all three matchups this week!

I play. I have won three out of the last four years and finished second the year I didn't win. I won this week too. My team wasn't great but his time was worse. Lol

I've never played. My kid plays. Who knows, I may need some fantasy this year.

The RV lots start filling up early in the week for Saturday games. The locals in my tailgate set up the grill, tents, satellite, chairs and start cooking on Wednesday. I like the lsu game the most. They’re good natured when they lose and they bring us all kinds of Cajun food. South Carolina is the friendliest. At the Ol' Miss tailgate they set up tables with fine china, crystal and silver in the Grove. It's a hoot.

We’d sit in the parking lot and eat all kinds of good food! And all around us there would be amazing smells from other tailgaters barbecuing their Mets, chicken, shrimp, etc. I used to joke, “Do we really have to go inside and watch the game?”

There may be a hundred to a hundred and fifty thousand people at a typical sold out Iron Bowl or Georgia game. Our stadium seats just under 89,000. Come early and stay late.

Another lame thread about this? You are just as obligated to participate as you are obligated to buy an electric car.
