James Webb telescope image dazzles on science birthday

Back in the 1970's I had a summer job at one of the leading university astronomy labs in the country. It was interesting, although my interest at the time lay more in biological stuff. They wanted me to stay, but I had other goals. Of course there is biological interest in space, but at the time not a whole lot of evidence, just conjecture. AFAIK, we still haven't found life outside the planet Earth. But I gather it's inevitable, some day.
