The answer is in your question. There are "children versions" for children. Everyone else can read "the adult version." It should also be pointed out that not all translations use that language. For example, the King James Version reads: "For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses."

I don't know the answer to it.
