Do you think today’s NBA players have evolved to become better than the greats of the past?
I think it’s pretty clear that today’s players are more athletic. They do above-the-rim stuff that even Michael Jordan and Dr. J could never do.
But I’m also noticing that today’s players are better shooters. They all make threes with regularity, and nowadays it’s more surprising when they miss. Everybody can shoot these days.
So what do you think: Who would win, the Chicago Bulls championship teams of the 1990s or the Golden State Warriors of the 2010s? Or the Denver Nuggets of today?
I think the teams of the 1980s and 1990s were tougher because the rules at that time allowed for rougher defenses. But today’s teams are so skilled.
