Rikishi was a horrible wrestler who made a name for himself simply because of his grotesque fatness. But he seems to be a pretty cool guy in real life.

In fact, if I’m not mistaken, they outright banned gaijin from entering their sport for a long period of time. This was after Hawaii had three or four sumo wrestlers that were in their top levels. |
