WWE got sold

I think Vince McMahon got exactly what he wanted. He strengthened the WWE’s financial worth and *STILL* maintains his control over the company he essentially founded. When it was announced that the WWE was for sale, most observers felt that one of the primary conditions for a deal was Vince stepping away forever. He is such a toxic human being who is despised by many in his own company. He also still carries the stench of several sexual misconduct incidents, including coerced sex with female employees. He has paid out about $20 million to make these accusations go away.

At one point, it seemed that McMahon was likely going to sell the company to the Saudis, which would have been a disaster.

Vince pledged to focus on the business aspects of the WWE and said he would stay out of creative. Yet, less than 24 hours after the sale was announced, the old geezer was wreaking havoc on the WWE’s creative plans for Raw last night. Morale among the wrestlers is reportedly really low right now. That’s unfortunate, because the WWE during Vince’s absence was doing exceptionally well.

The best thing that could happen for the WWE would be for Vince to drop dead. That’s what it will take for the company to move on to bigger and better things.

Thankfully, I have AEW to watch. It’s the best wrestling product out there, by far!
