Ok, so I was curious. How many first, second or third trophies (no participation trophies) did you win as a kid?
I'm curious to see if there is a correlation between sports and politics.

I won a handful of baseball trophies, soccer and golf trophies.
Never basketball. That wasn't my sport. I played. I just sucked. But some how I was always point guard?

None, sad to say.
I played volleyball for a bit, but we weren’t a good team.
I was on the cheer squad in high school, but in those days it wasn’t an official sport, so there were no states.
I did win a spelling bee contest in my fifth grade class. But there were no trophies.

I was quick, had handles and had pretty good hops. I could play with my brothers and their friends and not embarrass myself. They thought I should try out for the school teams, but no way. Those girls played rough. |
