Bo Jackson was an unbelievable athlete. Frank Thomas was a monster. I was at the SkyDome Rogers Centre a long time ago with really good seats, like...second row, one aisle beyond first base. Kelly Gruber got a hit and was standing on first base, and Frank Thomas was still at least a full head taller. He was a monster hitter too. Thomas went to Auburn on a football scholarship. Shocking... 😉 |

Where else can you walk or bike to a Rolling Stones or a James Brown concert and watch Pistol Pete, Sir Charles, Bo or Cam. Wrong place, but I'm on a roll almost makes me feel sorry for the idiots who attack professors because they don't realize that professors have been called "Dr." for hundreds of years before physicians started using it. and Bo was in one of Mom's classes. |

l count myself lucky to have grown up in a college town. Where else can you walk or bike to a Rolling Stones or a James Brown concert and watch Pistol Pete, Sir Charles, Bo or Cam. Wrong place, but I'm on a roll almost makes me feel sorry for the idiots who attack professors because they don't realize that professors have been called "Dr." for hundreds of years before physicians started using it. and Bo was in one of Mom's classes. Do Auburn fans really despise Alabama fans? Have any fun stories? |

Grew up in Auburn. 73, how about Jabari Smith Jr, or Walker Kessler? Never heard of them. I was born in 1975. Is Charles Barkley the greatest player in Auburn history? Although it doesn't measure up to bammer fans murdering each other over failing to show proper grieving over losing to Auburn, my sister stupidly married a bammer. For 30+ years they separate on Friday, go to the game with friends, return home on Sunday and never speak of the game. Kinda takes some of the fun out of it. After Auburn wins its big time fun to pick on her thin skinned husband. Of course I do. |

Jabari Smith is certainly impressive. It’s too bad he’s stuck on a bad team. The Rockets do have potential, though, with the addition of Amen Thompson.
