Most LNF regulars respect laws and standards concerning plagiarism. The standard they adhere to is no more than four paragraphs of any copyrighted article posted in a message.
However we have one LNF regular who routinely breaks copyright laws. In his most recent thread, Archie posted about 40 paragraphs of a copyrighted article. That is TEN TIMES the legal limit.
So, my question is: What, if anything, is the LNF hierarchy going to do to ensure that this place and Probards is not shut down by a lawsuit over repeated copyright violations?

I didn't say it wasn't linked. What I said was that it violated copyright law by quoting up to 40 paragraphs of the article.
Hey, if LNF doesn't care about such violations, let us know, so we can deluge the forums with Archie-style copyright violations.

2) "PMs to admin over every little violation or perceived offense". Again, I let a lot of crap here on LNF slide. If you're not up to doing the Admin job perhaps you should step aside?

LOL, I actually agree with you on #3 and #4. Because I was given a demerit and had my post edited because of these rules everyone knows about... but it seems that no, not everyone knows about them. I tried to ask about the rules last summer here, and got nothing. |

- No disparagement of family members.
