I can't believe it wasn't shot down over Alaska. But I really can't believe they shut down some airports just because it passed over. I don't know what this one is at, but weather balloons typically fly at 60,000 feet. So why stop airplanes? It's not like commercial flights are national secrets. It's pathetic. Probably something to do with air to air missiles in the vicinity. 🤔🙄 |
