I wonder how much of it was staged. I mean, did the robot know that the plank would withstand its weight (based on an evaluation), or did it just pick up the plank because it was instructed to do so? Did the robot completely analyze the environment and constructed a scenario that would allow it to get the toolbox to its destination or was the entire process preprogrammed including the positions of the plank and the toolbox? There is a huge difference between a robot that could do the former and one that would be limited to the latter.

Atlas is scripted but moves and interacts with surroundings autonomously..

I'm guessing it was all pre-programmed.
Notice that the human didn't interfere at all. That's a sign that it was all pre-programmed.
