Here’s a lovely rendition of a Hawaiian favorite, “Ku’u Home o Kahalu’u.”

Just FYI, Kahalu’u is a beautiful slice of heaven located on Oahu’s windward side, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The message behind the song is about remembering the past, and wondering if you can go home again. I found this description online from some guy named Francisco Acoba:
The song was written and recorded in the late 1970s/early 1980s by Olomana, one of the most beloved Hawaiian bands of all time.

The original from Olomana in 1976. My wife heard it for the first time today. And the second and third. She now loves it too.
We met 38 years ago a week from today. So beautiful, and the song as well. Mahalo.
