If you're going to ban Dman you better ban that asshole Odysseus First he's a millions times worse than Dman. That is not true. Odysseus can be obnoxious, tis true. But he is not suggesting that any group is inferior by birth, and is therefore deserving of abuse, hatred, intolerance or discrimination. His personality may leave you cold, but he's not here to foment civil war. let me be more specific I am 100% against ANYONE being banned this is America where at the moment we still have freedom of speech. If you ban one person for their opinions where is it going to end? There's lot of posts I don't agree with and yes even some of the Right leaning posters as well BUT they're still intitled to their opinions. |

Based on that post, it's hard to disagree with you. But that is because I am biased against intolerance, as are you. So the question becomes "Is being biased against intolerance the same as being tolerant?" Because isn't being tolerant the goal? We should think twice before we ban anyone. Dman is most surely a racist, divisive scumbag. But do we as a forum have other options available? Can't we let him wither while he sits in his own stink? Can his threads be moved to a separate but equal Racist Bunker? Isn't that kind of what he's asking for? Can we make an example of him? |

Is not burning people accused of being witches after a trial which cleared them of witchcraft enough? Or was wanting to burn people whom other people accused of being witches wrong in the first place? I'm just asking a question. |

To be honest, Stu's posts are much more annoying spam than d-man. It's like Stu just goes down breitbart's latest news and posts all their articles every day.
I can ignore d-man pretty easily, he doesn't spam new topics quite so much.
I do like to see, and for the general public to see that Trump supports are batshiat crazy. I think they help the cause.
If they're moved somewhere else that's still publically accessible that's fine too, it'll clean up the main forum for real discussion.
That said I have no skin in the game, and don't really care either way, which is why I've not voted.
