So there’s a Christian program called “FlashPoint” on The Victory Channel, a cable network owned by Kenneth Copeland Ministries. It’s a very politics-oriented show that really caters to the Donald Trump crowd. They have regular guests like Mike Lindell and Kari Lake. Basically, it seems they’re trying to get Trump re-elected, as well as every Republican candidate up for office this November. They do mix in some sermons and prophetic words, but even that is largely skewered toward republicans.
My Mom, who loves Trump, watches this show all the time.
Personally, I find this kind of show to be distasteful. I think it’s pretty gross to mix politics and faith so indiscriminately. The hosts often take shallow shots at Biden, Pelosi, AOC, etc.
Above all, their brown-nosing of Trump just reinforces my belief that there are televangelists out there who are purposely catering to the MAGA crowd because they see a financial benefit to it. They see the MAGA crowd as this cult-like monolith that they can take advantage of financially. The fact that this is a Kenneth Copeland endeavor only underscores my belief.
If you have watched this show, what is your opinion of it? Am I being too cynical?

Never even heard of it, but based on your description I doubt you’re being too cynical.
