Very very interesting. I remember having an early interest in human ancestry after I read some book about it as a teen.
But it was a bit too remote so I wound up studying natural history instead.
It is still a fascinating subject: how did humanity evolve?
And what is going to come next?

Well, the numbers vary by region/nationality, but it's my understanding that modern humans can have between 1% and 4% of their DNA derived from Neanderthals, with East Asians having the most, and Africans having the least. Europeans somewhere in between.
