Do you not understand the thread? The question being asked is what if everyone had a gun. No exceptions. What would our society be like. Freon It would be like we all better be friends. Exactly. You don't believe it either. Then why do you advocate so hard for something you ultimately do not want. Freon

A ridiculous attempt at an analogy that fails instantly.
No big surprise there.
You are just not intellectually competent.
Here, I will simplify it for you even more: If you get a gun, would you want to get a super effective one or a less effective one?
Firearm effectiveness is dependent upon design, application, target, operating environment, and operator skill set.

Alaska? I thought Archie lived in Florida...
This nut job was clearly disturbing the peace and should have been removed from the premises by security personnel, if not arrested by LEO and so charged.
This is one of the few time I might say, "You go, Walmart!".

Like I said, we better all be friends. No you don’t break into my house, no you don’t try and steal my car, no I am not handing you my wallet, no keep your hands off my daughter, no let go of my wife’s purse, no you don’t sell drugs in my city or gated community and get the hell away from my dogs before I say sic hem.

I do live in Florida. My brother and friend Tom went to Alaska once. They said it was a great place. My brother had a new home built when he came home, a log cabin. And it was real nice too. Our houses at that time were next door to each other. He had that cabin built across the street and about two houses to the left. A five minute walk, and we could still shoot in the back yard. Wolcott Connecticut was out town. We were born and raised in Waterbury. It used to be very industrial and known as the brass center of the world. We learned our trade there and moved into the country. He is still in Wolcott. And I am here in the south, no snow.

It doesn’t matter what the police or military or government wants. Gun ownership is a right. If I want to own a gun (which I don’t), I have the right to do so.
Yes, it is currently a right, but it is regulated. So there are some guns you cannot own; most machine guns, for example, although it certainly would fit your personality. Hell, an Abrams tank would probably suit your world view, although it would be hard to park.
And it's only a right because that's how the Supreme Court has interpreted the Second Amendment. I can see a day when it is re-interpreted some other way, perhaps. Or maybe even a constitutional amendment process to clarify it one way or the other.
It would be impossible to park. The driver's hatch is less than a metre wide.

What if the gun lobby got its wish, and everyone in the country now had guns. Your premise is false so the rest of the post isn't worth reading. The gun lobby wants universal rights, not ownership.

freon, you do realize that anyone in this country who is not a felon and otherwise allowed, can own a gun....right? Perhaps with some different regs in different places...
I'm not sure I understand the point of your thread...people who want them legally have them and people who choose not to, don't...
It's been proven countless times that the mere ownership of a gun, does not turn an otherwise lifelong law abiding citizen into a raging lunatic...

Oh, well, yes of course an Abrams would be far too small.
Perhaps one of these, along with a construction crane for "boarding", would suffice?
(The person in front of the wheel is just for comparison purposes).
