And here is Prince’s eye-opening performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to honor George Harrison. This is one of my favourite guitar solos of all time. I've watched it more than a few times. Rumour has it they snubbed him in the practice and wouldn't let him play...so he grabbed the opportunity in the live performance and killed it. A very underrated guitar player. His solo at the end of Let's Go Crazy is also a thing of beauty. |

One of the guitarists was Slash, who went last. They were all good, but Slash's blues were just delicious; when he finished his segment, King told him to keep going... |

Notice the open E-string under the capo? I was playing this video, and my wife asked me, "Is that you?" Uhhh...what? "It sounds like something you've recorded before..." Yeah, not even close. |

Good eye.. I did notice the open E .. seems to be standard tuning otherwise.
I don't play many in alternate tunings.. I do Vincent Black Lightning.. EBGDGC Big Richard Thompson fan..
