If Joe can exhibit steady, quiet leadership while ignoring Trump's attacks, (really, don't even acknowledge them Joe), his odds are pretty good for running against an incumbent. Let Trump be Trump. The electorate is exhausted so the daily drama! is losing it's magic. Stay in the basement Joe.

Biden doesn't need to much like Obama didn't need to in 2008. However, the American people are entitled to seeing their two main presidential candidates on the main stage, discussing the issues. Also, remember, we heard this same stuff about Biden debating in 2012 when debating supposed "Policy Guru" Paul Ryan and it didn't turn out all that well for the latter.

Biden doesn't need to much like Obama didn't need to in 2008. However, the American people are entitled to seeing their two main presidential candidates on the main stage, discussing the issues. Also, remember, we heard this same stuff about Biden debating in 2012 when debating supposed "Policy Guru" Paul Ryan and it didn't turn out all that well for the latter.
In a normal year I'd agree with you. Nothing is normal in the age of Cheetohead. That being said, whichever way is best to get the Orange one out of office is the correct decision. |
