The Knotts Berry Farm amusement park in question is in Buena Park, which is in Southern California south of Los Angeles.
Anybody who knows California knows that Southern California is far more conservative than the North, with a few exceptions in the boondocks and to the northeast part of the state where Solar and his right wing criminals hang out.
I've not heard of any amusement park in Northern California that has had to close due to such teenage fighting.
OTOH, blueridgedebate.com makes Knotts Berry Farm look tame in comparison.

Look, I've lived in Northern California for nearly all my life. Mostly in the SF Bay Area. It's a given that the further south you go in this state, the more cons you'll run into.
Now, I will allow what with increased immigration, Southern California may have become slightly less conservative than in the past. But I doubt by much.
Where do you two live? Hoboken, NJ?
That might explain a lot.

Look, all my life I've heard about how SoCal is conservative, NoCal liberal. I accept that this MAY have changed in the last 20 years, but there is no way that the sparsely populated conservative majority counties in eastern NoCal can overshadow the largely liberal far more populous counties in the Bay Area and surrounding counties.
Plus Trump was such a disaster that it should come as no surprised that intelligent Californians changed their minds.

I lived in south central Los Angeles, Hermosa beach and calabasas for 10 years. My daughter has been in downtown San Francisco for 5 years. I’ve traveled California extensively.
And it’s simple to look up how various counties have voted. As I posted the link.
