Full disclosure. I live in Highland Park Illinois, about a half mile from downtown. I'm on lockdown. It's a nice upscale area, many movies such as Home Alone, Ferris Bueller and Risky Business were filmed here. Michael Jordan lived here. No good guy with a gun was going to stop this. There is no safe place, we all know that but it's no less shocking when it's in your own back yard. Fuck the Second Amendment assholes. Fuck you all. And just what would have happened if there were 2 or 3 good guys with a gun and they shot back? How many less people would have been killed or injured. There are criminals and insane that will never obey any laws they don’t want to. Only good people obey our laws, and more and more laws make their lives a lot harder at times. And the crime goes on. You say no good guy with a gun would stop this. I know many good guys that could have stopped it with one shot if they could see the shooter. I understand what you're saying. However, what is the country coming to if majority should carry guns. I don't want to walk around with a gun to feel safe. Back to the old west days. Although, the guns are much better today. Plus, wasn't there cops around anyway? Doesn't matter how many cops are around if they have a high power rifle. Example-The cops will prevent him from killing 10, but he killed 5 before he was shot. |

For the archie and good guy with a gun crowd. The shooter is on a rooftop behind cover. Do you really think you're going to draw an fire your peashooter and nail this guy? He fled after the second volley, so your only chance was the few moments between if you even could lay eyes. It was over in twenty seconds. If you had any brains you'd be ducking for cover when the second volley started. Also, there were plenty of cops on the street. This video was taken a block away from the shooting. |

Hmmmm, let me see. If you are present, and you hear gun shots and see people being hit and falling down, a normal good person would try and see where the shots are coming from and seek protection. Then if that good guy happens to have a gun, and the cops have not gotten there yet, and he can see that bad guy on the roof still shooting, the good guy has a good idea how far the bad shooter is, let’s say 50 yards. So he holds his gun with both hands as he leans against the pole he’s hiding next to and carefully holds that front sight on his gun and in the middle of the rear sight, focus front sight, the target a little blurry behind that clear front sight and aim at the largest part of the upper body as you squeeze the trigger. That bullet will hit exactly where the top of that front sight was on the target. You see, we shooters know your eye can not focus on three different things at the same time. The front sight has to be clear, your target in the back ground. And that would have saved a lot of injuries and deaths. If the police got there first, they would have done the same thing. LOL. Two of my neighbors were down there, fortunately everyone is ok. Amother neighbor works at the hospital, I saw her leaving right at the beginning when I'd heard a report but wasn't sure it was true. As she walked by I asked her is this happening, she couldn't speak. Just nodded yes. |

I remember at a bar in Naugatuck Connecticut one night, a big guy started picking on another guy arguing over a jacket of all things. That guy’s jacket never would have fit that big fat ass. Anyway, the smaller guy left and came back in about five minutes. The big guy started on him again. The owner of the bar told them to stop or get out. The big guy told the small guy get out and I am going to kick your ass. The two went out, bang, one shot, the big guy comes in, bloody hand, bloody shirt and drops dead in front of the juke box. Then the cops were there in about 10 minutes. I remember the guy had a bullet hole in his hand and in his chest. One shot. See the problem is guns. Too many guns |
