The price we are being asked to pay so that frightened gun fetishists can continue to arm themselves, so that gun and ammo manufacturers can continue to enrich themselves, and so that a morally bankrupt, mercenary GOP remains in power. It's little better than throwing our children into a volcano to appease an angry god. I've had enough of these murders. How about you? The lack of self awareness among these liberals is truly astounding. They sanction the butchery of 2000+ unborn human beings every day and yet dare to stupidly and dishonestly accuse us of "ritualized child sacrifice".
No one....NO ONE....should be allowed to be this stupid IRL.

The trouble with holding abortion on the same plane as murder is not a very strong base to argue from. A whole city could be nuked and the same comparative argument could be made, "well at least it's not 65 million unborn children!" Hiding behind abortion doesn't make you moral.

"Your ideas won't work." Nearly every other country disagrees. It's a unique American problem. There are other problems that are uniquely American. The militarization of our police force and the empire abroad seem to be relevant examples which might infiltrate the rest of society in a negative way. The harsh execution of the war on drugs stands out when compared to the rest of the first world. And the prevalence of mental health issues? America is amongst the top 5. Also, 400 million guns in private hands, while also leading the world in 3D Printing technology, soon to make gun bans obsolete. Other countries will have to consider that last trend as well.
LOL... glad we see the same things. Only difference is I want to do something about it. You want to sit and laugh about it or do nothing.

You see what you want to see because you can’t comprehend any solution other than your own. 3D printing will make your bans worthless in a moment’s time.

Boomba and his fellow confused mentally ill miscreants: "Aaaah! We must destroy civilization in order to save us old fat fucks! Fuck the children and the young, healthy adults who will ultimately be responsible for careing for their children and us as well." "Aaah! The police are too violent and can't do shit right. We must riot and burn everything down!" "Aaah! Free speech is a horrible idea. Some KKK members might say something I don't like! "Aaah! Guns are bad! My mentally ill breathren that I've been coddling and teaching that their mental illness is just normal might use those guns!" "Aaah! Police that I hate and riot against are incompetent and do everything bad need even more power to violate our civil rights on my behalf which I will later riot over and then demand they be defunded and riot some more and demand more of my rights be taken away...because I'm fucking crazy." Your kind can't be trusted with this kind of power. Your fake tears aren't going to change that. There's a crossword clue in today's paper I just can't get. What is the collective noun for a group of straw men?

3-D printing is not limited to plastic. Plastic is just the cheapest malleable material. In fact, there are companies that 3-D print houses out of concrete. You can see videos of it on YouTube. It's pretty wild. It's already assumed that 3-D printers will be used to print replacement parts for cars and things and while 3-D printers will probably not print a gun whole, what they will do is print the parts that can be assembled by the user. Metal 3-D printers already exist. It's cost-prohibitive now for an individual, but that won't always be the case. It is coming.

It takes less money per gun to print one at this point then to buy one new, but it takes a looooong time to print components and they don’t last as long. Less money out the door, but costs aren’t just measured in cash.

That's true, but for the user the time it takes to print it isn't all that relevant unless he plans on trying to mass produce them to sell to others. If you're creating your own arsenal, then all you need is some patience. And the fact that the printer leaps over things like waiting to turn 18, getting a permit, getting a background check and getting through a mandated waiting period levels the playing field quite a bit. And technology will get faster anyway. And mass shooting rampages (which is what everyone's really upset about) unfortunately don't take long, so the durability of the parts is less of an issue. Oh yeah, tracking guns via serial numbers, origin of sale, etc. will become a thing of the past as well.

Ever seen Toy story 3?
Watch the beginning, I think about 40min into the movie. Andy is about to got to college and his sister is becoming to old for toys. They donate the toys at the local pre-school. When she gets there, she pushes a button and the front desk pushes a button to let her in. The doors are always locked. There is also cameras all around.
We can keep the schools locked and know who's coming and going.
That doesn't mean it become impossible. But its no longer just as easy.
Like most of the time, we're talking out our ass about something that won't change for a long time. I don't think we need those guns he used. I don't get that. If we're invade by Canada's military, I'll admit I was wrong. Could he have killed the same amount with a different gun? Yes, he had plenty of time before he was stopped. Electronic locks would have prevented it.
Buffalo may have been cut in numbers of people killed if not for that particular gun the psyco got (AR-15). You can do something about the sale of these guns, but that's about it. Criminals still get guns. So we have to have them. We could increase police funding for cops and technology. Decrease was the dumbest thing ever said.

On one of the tv shows some time back about firearms, a person walked in with a block of aluminum and wanted a 1911 built. And with some fairly basic machining equipment they built one
As long as there are bad guys people have a right to self defense.
