My turn - a potential real movie that was never made.
Clue #1 - My dad was almost involved in this movie. Martin Sheen and other producer types traveled to his campus to discuss making a movie about a college game.
Clue #2 - it was about a sports game.
Clue #3 - there were no 1st downs made by either team yet the score was extremely lopsided.
Clue #4 - John Heisman was involved.
Clue #5 - the movie was to be based on the book, You Dropped It, You Pick It Up.
Clue #6 - many say there was revenge involved

Clue #7 - in 1916 the team from the little school beat the big school 22 to 0 in baseball.
Clue #8 - tensions rose as there were allegations of ringers in the baseball game.
Clue #9 - the baseball coach who also coached football saw his chance for revenge that fall
Clue #10 - there was a war and the little school had ended its football program.
Clue #11 - the game was not to be canceled - the contract was to be enforced until proper revenge could be meted out for the baseball game.
This not made for tv movie was intended for the big screen. Still there is the possibility of a rule violation. Many of the more prestigious awards do not include a category for Best Movie Never Made.
Although based on a true story it was not a documentary.

I know the game, it was Ga. Tech vs. Cumberland. Ga 222 points Cumberland 0. But I never heard of a potential movie about it.

Dad showed them around campus but nothing more came of it.
