LOL, Archie got taken in by a satirical website. Even worse, he failed to comprehend the content of his own link, Snopes, which stated:
This is an epic fail even for Archie, who consistently demonstrates he's not the brightest candle on the birthday cake.
Ha ha ha, I have been blessed by God, I am from Connecticut, educated there, and I know what my IQ is. You and many others here make no sense at all to me. You are like cult members. You are all addicted to the (D) party that has done nothing for you or the country for many decades. And they have morphed into a political party that is against America and the constitution. And that is a fact that you are all blind to. So don’t try and give me any BS about being wrong. You are the ones killing yourselves. And that is a good thing for me, you will not destroy my country. Another George Washington is on the way. His name may be Donald Trump this time. It would be nice if there was another political party that would negotiate intelligently with the Republican Party to make sure the best things were done for the country and AMERICANS. We should net have to be baby sitters for the rest of the world. We have laws, and they should be enforced.

I am in complete agreement that skin color is meaningless. The concept of 'race' to me, as someone trained in science, is frankly offensive. We are one race.
Also, I should apologize, I should have directed my question not at you directly, but at Trump supporters in general. Sorry.
I strongly feel that Trump's base fits the description I applied to you. Would you mind commenting on that? Freon
AND THAT is what I see as the problem You are trying to paint all Trump supporters into a corner Now with that said I'm just as guilty of doing the same thing at times. While some of your beliefs are in my opinion far left ALL your opinions are not the same as lets say Fiddler or Ulysses everybody on the left doesn't think the same nor does everybody on the right think the same. I can't answer your question because I really don't know why some Trump supporters think the way they do. NOW I think you know I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 because I didn't think he was a conservative I truly thought he was a Democrat running on the Republican side AND I admit I was wrong. Now as for this election I really don't want to vote for Trump BUT the Democrats have gone so far left I don't see any other choice. Here's the problem with that point of view. If we treat everyone as being different, then there is no ability to understand, 'the other side' (the entire reason I joined this forum).
I think it is fair to say there are distinct camps within both sides, though neither is a monolith. On the Trump side, I see two main categories. First, there are the low educated white christians, who believe in Trump without question. He can literally do anything, and they will not care. And second, the Trump supporters who see gain by having him in office. Of this second camp, there are those who see gain financially, and those who see gain ideologically.
How does that sit with you? Freon

Connecticut, huh? Thanks to liberal laws, you are likely to have one of the longest lifespans in the country (sorry, we still beat you in Cali). Freon

Nancy is a champion, that's why she's thrived for so long.
And Trump is massively annoyed by her, intimidated even.
As a Californian, I am proud she represents me.
You have McConnell. The only person I would describe as worse than Trump. In a fight between McConnell and Pelosi, I think Pelosi would take that country boy down without breaking a sweat. Freon
And Nancy has described Trump perfectly:
"He's a skunk"...
Are you really from California? If so, I feel sorry for you. That's a large state, and I'll give you that. However, it is losing people to neighboring states because of your politicians' far left beliefs. Some of you have moved to Texas where a couple of my kids live and some have even found their way to Louisiana. The ones I have met at least are glad to be away from the toxic environment even though they don't agree with my politics. The ones who have moved made a very good decision, imo. There is hope for them

I'm glad they are leaving. We are exporting liberalism across the US.
We are the most populous state, so even with the 40-50k that leave each year, we still grew due to migration and births. Yet the effect we are having in states like Texas, Arizona, and Idaho is dramatic. These once purely red states are seeing a change of color, and that is only going to continue.

I gather that the main reason some people leave California is because it's so expensive to live here. And it is a desirable place to live. Although I've just about retired, I don't plan on leaving. The biggest expense here is housing, and I own my place free and clear. You see, I planned ahead. Not that I couldn't be happy elsewhere, but 1) I'm not inclined to enjoy long cold winters 2) I don't particularly enjoy the company of right wing morons 3) I'm not overly fond of mosquitoes.

I have to agree with you on this one. Drunken Botox Nancy Pelosi has been in Congress over 30 years proving beyond a shadow of a doubt American Democrats are the stupidest people on earth. Nancy is a champion, that's why she's thrived for so long.

I have been to California for a short time. The scenery and weather is very nice. Other than that it sucks. The laws and taxes are crazy.

Woody Guthrie summed it up about 75 years ago:
California's a garden of Eden, A great place to live in or see, But believe it or not, You won't find it so hot, If you ain't got the do-re-mi.
