Ah, but completely different. Die Hard was a surprise in that Willis went from understated comedy actor to action star. Then he did a bunch of action movies. Still doing them. In every one, he plays the same guy. But he's still in some of my favourites: The Fifth Element 12 Monkeys Looper (see a pattern?) Those are all great movies that didn't require the actor to be great. |
