Our policy in Syria to overthrow Assad - across 3 administrations now - has been a complete failure. One we're probably never going to admit. Instead, everyone else is going to resume relations with Syria, and we'll quietly leave the SDF holding the bag (and all those ISIS prisoners) when we eventually do pull out.
