Thanks for any excuse to post the following. I have to admit I like Prince's shorter pop lifeier songs more than the long jam ones. Maybe the environment matters. I think even George Clinton might have called a halt before the 10 minute mark. Then again, maybe not. Either way, it's hip.... |

Ah yes, 1971 was when the Who released Behind Blue Eyes. I remember it well. A most excellent album, one of my favorites of the 1970s. I don't remember the single that much, more the album. The Who were never as successful as a singles group in the U.S. as they were in the U.K. |
