There are many food products that are legal in the us but banned in Europe and elsewhere.
Lobbyists pretty much own the fda and even epa. Historically under all administrations.
There is talk of banning some food products as Europe has.
What are people thoughts - screw that let people make their own choices. Or the fda and epa have a responsibility to keep known unhealthy foods off the shelves.

They should be banned from being fed to kids at government institutions. Let’s start there, maybe.
But I’m generally opposed to broad scale bans.

And if people have health issues, they'll simply buy other products, causing those companies to either produce healthier ones, or go out of business, exactly as a capitalist system is designed to work. You sound like socialists to me. Freon

Other than that, just create some more transparency in the FDA process and end some of the corruption. That would go a long way IMO.

Some of his ideas are pretty nutty, but I'm completely in board with eliminating processed foods from public school provided lunches. You wanna feed your kids garbage like Lunchables, then send them to school with it.

The formulas used to determine matching funds and maximize what you can get with your food money (under a couple dollars per head) inevitably leads to the lowest bid, highly processed, institutional food solutions. Public schools, prisons and jails, any of 'em..they all are required to feed faces for a couple bucks per person. REAL food would cost hella more and that just ain't gonna happen, IMO. :/

I really don't care tbh.
Parents have always been in control of what their kids eat at schools. The obesity crisis is a parenting crisis. And we can't force parents to love their children at the federal level. Sorry but it doesn't work like that.
I honestly have no idea what I did to make my kids both skinny af. Maybe it was paying attention to em and what they ate and encouraging them to drink water?
Nah. We all know it's presidents who have the most influence on the young. I've been hearing about it for 8 years now so I'm sure that must be true.

Keep in mind that Que-Anon had to flee CA because he is too weak and incompetent to compete.

You know very well that when it's sold in stores, some people will think it's safe, buy and eat it. Transparency won't change a thing. It's written "smoking kills" on all packets of cigarettes here. Does it stop people from smoking? Hell, no!!!

If implemented, it would constitute one of the greatest Self-Owns in American history. CSA-level stupidity.

I've been denying my entitlement, denying my ability to exploit everyone else, to assert my inner asshole, and they are telling me I'm a chump for it. So be it. I'm a convert!
