Oh no! Some contractors that did shitty work didn't get all their pay.
Would it surprise you to know I've done the same? Refused to pay people who did substandard work for our firm?
Would it surprise you to know that every business owner has? And that's why this talking point never got anywhere except in the fantasies of leftists believing they're heroes?

In my country, refusing to pay for work (substandard or otherwise) is reprehensible. If you have a problem with a contractor you must file a complaint and let the court decide.
What kind of fucking lawless rat-hole is that country of yours that you can get away with that?

Oh that's the way it is in our country too. With a focus on "If you agree to do X work for Y payment and you don't do X work but still expect Y work ... you don't get paid."
The idea that Trump just goes around getting away without paying people is one of the delusions the left has sold themselves and one of the reasons why it disappeared as a talking point.
It dovetails nicely with the "Trump has used the courts 3500 times in his life!!!" because of those jilted subcontractors suing him criticism that disappeared when you realize major companies like Walmart (more Trump's level than your neighbor who works at Lowes cutting lumber) are in the courts over 5000 times *a year.*
