Donny listened to the usually clueless dipshits on talk radio and repeats back to those usually clueless dipshits the things the usually clueless dipshits say and then they vote for him. Yeah, I could see that. I don't know if he actually listened to all those hours of talk radio, but it's certainly a possibility, though there was likely a little more involved. Well of course. He paid his advisors to listen to thousands of hours and give him summaries.
Democrats couldn't even be bothered to do that. They wrote off half the country a loooong time ago. Probably about the same time they decided it was a worthwhile pursuit to whitewash this: Like me, you should be more pissed off about how the Democrats moved into that role.
I don't wanna startle you or anything, but did you know Obama started four wars?
Oh wait. Pardon me. Five.
Like our nation's journalists, were you too worried about criticizing a black man and being a labeled a racist that you just didn't notice?
Queshank
Wow, if he really did that they ripped him off. While some of the topics and pols change, it's basically the same old loony toon garbage and it doesn't take thousands of hours to figure that out. Looks like the con man got conned. And why would Democrats listen to repetitive right wingers? I'm sure they had a good idea of what their politics were. Five wars. They must have been rather minor affairs compared to Bush's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. You mean you can read the minds of journalists? Amazing. Probably didn't notice because they were relatively small.

Yeah. Why would Democrats want to listen to what's important to half the People in the country they want to rule over?
And here we are.
You put the point to the entire problem with the Democrats and their detachment from the citizenry ... while not succinctly .. at least unavoidably.

No. Derangement is believing there were candidates who want to sleep with their daughters. Have you been reading Ashley Biden's diary again?
Queshank
Oh weird, so Trump doesn't want to sleep with his daughter?
If I had to guess which? I’d say it’s (a) the one who said she was overly sexualized and took “inappropriate showers” with her father and has had a lot of addiction issues and been in rehab over (b) the relatively well adjusted one who is married with children and has never written anything like that.

Lol. I find it weird when a father compliments his daughter’s figure. But not nearly as weird as Ashley Biden’s behaviors and issues. That’s objective, autreyu. I’m so sorry.

Queshank Five wars. They must have been rather minor affairs compared to Bush's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Yeah. The dead from American bombs are unconcerned about it cuz it was a rather minor affair.

That's the advantage of not being a political party. Dems have to listen, or pretend to listen, to a bunch of loony toon goobers. Individuals don't. Do you think Republicans want to listen to the half of the people in the country who don't vote for them? I doubt it. There is a significant part of the citizenry that I am detached from, which works out just fine. Democrats are not detached from the citizenry, they are only detached from some portion of the citizenry, as are Republicans.

Republicans cannot avoid listening to the half of the people in the country who don't vote for them. And neither can their voters, which is why they vote Republican in the first place.

Into some lives bombs must fall. Obama's actions seemed to mostly be airstrikes, intelligence and financial support, and occasional small numbers of ground troops, very short of Dumbya's full-scale invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. And some of these conflicts were already ongoing, so they weren't started by Obama.

I'm relieved they found solace beyond the grave. I bet more of them died due to Bush II than Obama.
