I've seen several people saying he wanted her to face a firing squad. That's not what he's talking about.

It was not a joke. But it is being taken out of context entirely. Trump's argument is one that many people have made in the past about war hawks. They're always cavalier about sending soldiers to die. Trump opined that let's put her out there if she wants to go to war so easily. There's nothing wrong with what he said. |

This little scenario helps demonstrate the point I made in the other thread about Democrats not having a message of foreign policy restraint.
Instead of being able to call out Trump as a hypocrite who also sent US troops into combat (while he himself avoided combat) rather than ending those wars, they're having to lie about what he said in order to defend the warmonger they've chosen to get in bed with.
Truly amazing.

For that to happen, Donald would have to attract more people than he did in 2016, and all I've seen are those who want less of him, not more. If you only consume far right news, then they are telling you that you are the majority, that the Dems are crashing, and that Donald is a winner. Except each of those is not true. You are NOT the majority. The Dems are not only doing well, but former Repubs have joined their cause. And Donald is not just a loser, he will be the benchmark by which that word is forever defined.
