Lies or Stupid?
I'm actually leaning toward stupid here.
Starting about 2:20.
HARRIS: But what he would do is about eliminating or reducing the ability of corporations to require... required to pay overtime. Overtime pay!
SHARPE: So you'd have... so you could work, and the corporations wouldn't have to pay you for it.
HARRIS: *nodding* for overtime.
SHARPE: Who would work for free? *scoff*
HARRIS: That's right! And overtime means you are actually working a longer day, which means you are more tired, which means it requires more exertion, that's why we have overtime pay.
_______________________
Some questions:
1. Can anybody find where Trump is proposing removing overtime pay? 2. Do these two actually believe that people would be working "for free" even if this was in Trump's plans? 3. To go back to the beginning, are these just blatant lies? Or are these two stupid? Or is it both? It could be both. 4. Not a question, but I like Harris's explanation of how overtime work means a longer work day, and that makes people tired. It reminds me of her explanation of the Ukraine war.

_ Some questions: 1. Can anybody find where Trump is proposing removing overtime pay? Why ask? ..
Unless he used the exact words.. "I propose removing overtime pay." the Cult wouldn't believe he wanted to do that..
WTF am I saying.. Even if he did say it exactly like that they'd claim it was a joke or cherry-picked or taken out of context..

Wonderful dodge. I’ve heard him say that he would work to remove taxes on overtime? I could provide the quotes if you want.

Sharpe said “free” , not Harris And then she said “that’s right”. But she ended her statement with “and that’s why we have overtime pay”. I think you are making to much of this on purpose.

How does this sound?
If you make 10 dollars an hour eight hours a day, that is your regular pay. Now asked to work 4 hours more in that day and you will be paid 15 dollars an hour for that 4 hours. Sounds good. But of course you higher pay will be taxed more than just 10 dollars an hour. And you will pay more tax. So trump is saying, still only tax the 10 dollars an hour. Not the extra 5 an hour. More money in your pocket without losing part of it in tax. I wish Trumps law was here then. We had a holiday from the day before Christmas until the day after New Year. We were paid a holiday pay. I was asked to work on an important job during the holidays. I was to get double time pay, plus the holiday pay. How much do you think I paid in taxes? Probably about what your regular pay was.

Wonderful dodge. I’ve heard him say that he would work to remove taxes on overtime? I could provide the quotes if you want. Pointing out the dumbshit dodge you consistently use to defend your master is 'dodging'? Well, yes. For argument's sake, even if I concede that I do that same thing all the time, he is still dodging the point of the thread. So is Kamala stupid or just lying or both? Do you think anybody has proposed that people have to work overtime "for free"?

It also hurts me a lot because it's relevant.
