Boy. I have a hard time with you. I keep saying again and again my issue is with equal application of punishment and you can’t seem to get that. You keep arguing well it was violent so he should get x Yet you ignore other violent crimes that go with no punishment. If the punishment for what he did is life then fine. Explain how equally and even worse attacks caught on video they attackers get set free. Or hit with a minor sentence. As I stated. I don’t know how severe the attack was. Was he in a coma for a month. Does he have lasting injuries not repairable. Or did he spend several days in a hospital and then walk out. I don’t know. Then... why don't you use your Google machine and find out? Greg |

You can't do it, can you? Whether it was the husband of a priviledged class or the husband of a trailer queen, it was a violent assault that should be met with hard time. Ten years for shitting on a desk is excessive. Life for taking a hammer to a man's skull? Not too many peeps are gonna advocate for less. Boy. I have a hard time with you. Sentencing varies, enormously, across jurisdictions, and even within jurisdictions...if you're looking for consistency, good luck. I get it, the victim was the spouse of a privileged political elite. Do a survey at your local State prison and let me know just how crazy the variations in sentencing are. Surprisingly, most (damned near all) have no political connection...yet the variation...weird that. |
