Orange man will not win the popular vote. It is possible he will get in by the farce known as the electoral college, like he did in 2016. It's a farce because it does not function in any shape, form, or fashion as the founders' intended. If it did, Trump would not even be a candidate. Harris probably wouldn't, either, but she is closer to what they envisioned than the orange fool is.
The "people"(that's us) will never give a majority vote to a man like Trump. They did not elect him in 2016. Rather, they rejected him by a pretty good margin. That the people give him as many votes as they do just proves you can fool some, in this case a lot but not a majority, of the people all of the time.
I'm old enough that a Trumpublican sweep, the fool and both chambers with fools at the head of each, will not affect me all that much. in fact, I think it would be incredibly funny. What would be even funnier is watching him and them melt down with "stolen election" claims. So either way, I'm looking forward to lots of yuks.

Raw vote - a 2,868,524 difference.
Trump did better than Romney in 2012 (4,984,100) and McCain in 2008 (9,549,105).
Since 2000, the only one closer was Bush in 2000.
