I'm asking a simple question. The reason is because I've never viewed you as an Independent. You might very well be, but to me, you are a far righty. I've never heard you criticize Donald for his domestic policies. Your views seem Christian Nationalist. I've never heard you blame Donald for Jan 6, or acknowledge he's committed a single crime. Hard to call you independent, if you have not even considered any of the above. If the idea of putting a convicted criminal in office doesn't even bother you enough to discuss. I'd be willing to bet you not only will vote Donald, but you did the last two elections. Freon the difference in you and me is you vote party over anything else. I have said on numerous occasions I don't think either trump or harris are fit to be dog catcher let alone president. Now here's where we differ I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils because I see it as evil is evil. So...if i vote my party, which you say is SO different from you, I would vote for an Independent who is running. Except there is none. So if I cannot vote for an independent, then which candidate has at least some overlap with my values and desired goals for the country. THAT is how I choose a candidate. It's not about the vague 'lesser evil' meaningless cop-out. It's about strategically moving the iceberg in the direction I want, even if it means using another party's candidate to do so. Your position merely allows others to choose your leaders for you, to choose the direction of the country for you. Your approach is basically an all-or-nothing attitude, and since you can NEVER have all of what you want, taking that position is both impractical, and quite frankly, naive. But hey, you do you. You still seem like a far righty to me, because even if you vote some other candidate, NOT voting for one of the major ones is still an endorsement of one of them. And that one is Donald.
