What a wonderful example of the standard far right inability to understand context. You actually believe this is making a point about the original topic because in both cases, animals were killed, but in one, it bothered people, and in the other, it did not. You are saying that a person's dog that they personally raised and were a companion with, is equivalent to farm raised mass animal slaughter for food. And you think this demonstrates hypocrisy? This is so completely oblivious and naive, how do you even tie your own shoes in the morning, Que? And I especially appreciate that you cited your own narcissistic self, hoping we'd see that your 'wisdom' of the past is still true...but all it did is confirm you are a brain-dead moron. Keep'em coming, Cliffy. Freon

You know that the right is pushing the great replacement theory

You know that the right is pushing the great replacement theory I agree. That interpretation is closer to the reality of it. I imagine they are in a quagmire state, because they have no real party of their own, no good choice to make. Their hyper-conservative views don't fit into the Dems at all (and yes, Mercy, I'm aware you are in Canada), yet the far right PARTY follows such a total disaster of a leader, they cannot subscribe to it either. So they share many of the views of the far right, but cannot get themselves to follow the far right itself. In a way, I'm in their camp, but because my conservative leanings are less pronounced, I can vote Dem and not be too upset by it. For them, it's a choice of deciding between two evils, and the issues you brought up end up making the decision for them, even though the OVERRIDING decision, should be the health of the democracy. They put their RELIGIOUS views ahead of their country, which is ironic, because America is as much a religion as Christianity, they're just not able to understand it at that level. Freon

Freon Colin Jost said this last night at the WH correspondance dinner about his grandfather He voted for you, and the reason he voted for you is because you're a decent man. My grandpa voted for decency and decency is why we're all here tonight. Decency is why we are all able to be here tonight. Decency is how we're able to make jokes about each other and one of us doesn't go to prison after.
To me, this is the most important reason to vote for Biden. No matter what party affliation you are. But I think the trumpers like trump because he is mean. They won't abmit they like meanness, but they do. trump reflects their inner meaness. They really don't want to admit that. That is why they cover it up with calling themselves Christains without practicing Christianity.

Donald is the least CIVIL person you could possibly endorse. He is an ASSHOLE, through and through, and that is exactly what his followers want. They get to vicariously be assholes through him, and it is a drug they cannot get enough of. It consumes them completely. 'Winning' to them, is making other people who are different, suffer. You see it in Stu's posts all the time. He wants to KNOW that his readers are hurting. He explicitly asks for it. It's sick. But we have to acknowledge that these types of people have ALWAYS existed, both here, and in every society and nation in history. They are simply a part of our species, and never going away. The worst thing we can do is ignore them, because someone like Donald can happen. They cannot help being what they are, so it is up to the civil, rational part of society, to monitor them, and prevent them from ever gaining too much power. What I want to see is MORE of them joining congress. Assholes have as much right to be represented as any other group, and as we've seen, they are so completely ineffective at doing their jobs, they've actually HELPED the opposing side do theirs. They get to feel represented, the other side gets to achieve its goals. Everyone wins. Freon

I happen to think what she did was disgusting and do not want her on the ticket with Trump, but the left's hypocrisy on this subject flows like diarrhea after all you can eat Mexican.

You just repeat the right-wing talking points in total obliviation. It is not your duty to play God. If these woman have done anything wrong, the let God deal with it, not the government. The government should not pick and choose which fetuses get to live or die. Is a fetus conceived though rape or incest any less worthy to live than a fetus conceived though a one night encounter with a man you hardly know? Are fetuses in petri dishes less worth because the parents have decided that they no longer need them? Who is to decide that? The government? If you were truly a Christian and really wanted all fetuses to live, then what you need to do is what God told you to do. Pray for them. You people want to pray for the dead children after a mass shooting when there is nothing else you can do to bring them back alive. if your prayers work so well, then pray that women will need less abortions. How about helping these unwanted children after they are born. You don't want to do that either. So don't give me your B.S. about fetuses are babies and liberals desire to expermenate them when you know it is not true to excuse your justification of Noem killing her dog.

I DO pray for them, but I also fight for their lives against the perverted filth that think that abortion is not the butchery of innocent children.
And every leftist is lying when they claim that we don't care about those children after birth, and really, what kind of trash thinks the better alternative for those children is to kill them ahead of time so that they don't have hardships growing up?
Fetuses ARE babies and abortion DOES exterminate a human baby without exception. Can you defend that evil without the semantic gymnastics?

ALL you assholes bitching about what Noem did are NOTHING more than party hacks. The dog was was vicious and needed to be put down. I can only imagine what you low IQ knuckle draggers would be saying if she hadn't put the dog down and it had attacked a child or adult possibly killing them you assholes would be attacking Noem for not putting the dog down. Truth of the matter is Noem was in a no win situation damned if she did or damned if she didn't put the vicious dog down.
