Ah, but the thing about Celine's affliction is that it is extremely rare. Like 1 out of a million might ever get it. Its rarity probably will make a cure unlikely, although there seems to be some hope that she eventually will recover. Not all rare diseases are deadly. Stephen Hawking had a rare disease and he endured it for something like fifty years, which means she could live to be a hundred.
