Thanks to modern technology, here’s “Now and Then” - a “new” song by the Beatles. The song was written and sung by John Lennon, then Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr added their vocals and instruments. I think it’s quite good!

This is far from being of the same quality as the Beatles were known to deliver. This is mawkish commercial bullshit.

Not that different from "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," although this is certainly later and you would expect more maturity. Who knows, if the band had stayed together it might have made the cut on a subsequent album.

I remember back in the Nineties when they "found" some new Beatles songs. I wasn't impressed then. Like they say "You can't go home again.

It actually sounds like a post Beatles Lennon song that the other lads are singing on.
Not their best but nice to hear and the video is a nice walk down memory lane.

The Beatles were perfectionists, so they recorded each songs like a dozen times before finding a version that met they high standards. They sell these second rate "heretofore unpublished" versions but you had better not hear them, since they are of inferior quality to the ones you already know.
