If one is to read scripture, and not accept the fables spread by the likes of Jasmine and her vengeance, one could understand the truth of His words:
Of course, the likes of Jasmine cannot accept the truth:
well thanks for posting one person's opinion of what a Christian is. Sadly all you've done is prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are not even close to being a Christian. Maybe before you post this kind of rubbish you should actually read the garbage you post. YOU have NONE of the 5 virtues the article talks about you fucking retarded monkey. BUT I will give you credit when it comes to making a complete fool of yourself you win the Award for that. Has anyone here ever seen a more clueless attempt to attack someone’s character by exemplifying on steroids the same, and worse, character flaws. Bless him baby Jesus, for he does try to make you look bad

The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity and undoubtedly the least understood member of the Godhead. Christians can easily identify with God the Father (Jehovah or Yahweh) and his Son, Jesus Christ. And it is strange to me, the Jewish God called JHWH could be JeHaWaH. Like Jehovah? Could Christians and Jews have a same God, only Christians know the son well? I am far from a religious expert, I am always curious... That’s all. I have nothing against most religions. The ones that want to kill everyone that is not of their religion, I have no use for. And Israel is protecting themselves from one of those right now. Maybe we should help them get them off the face of the planet so there will always be peace. We do not even try to pronounce G-d's name directly (technically, you can't, the letters are intentionally made so they are just a jumble of sounds), as you do, it is considered disrespectful. Could we have the same god? That's the wrong question. That's not the part we share. It is the human birthright to be curious, but I don't really see curiosity coming from you. Christians have a lengthy history of killing in the name of their religion, so are you saying you have no use for Christians? Israel IS protecting itself from Hamas, to be sure, but the far right Israeli leadership has looked the other way while Zionist Israeli settlers have stolen Palestinian-owned land, and THAT is why Hamas is attacking. I do not agree with the tactics Hamas uses, or even Hamas itself as an organization, but I DO understand what they are fighting for, and it would be considered legitimate by American standards. Whereas the news agencies, especially on the far right, are ONLY telling the Israeli side of the story, making it seem like Hamas, for no reason at all, simply committed horrendous acts. I hold both sides accountable because I know the truth. You hold Hamas accountable, because you only know part of the truth. Freon YOU wish you knew the truth BUT you don't even know your own faiths history. When God kicked his choosen people out of Israel the lowlife piece of shit Palestinians stole the land of Israel. Are you sure you're a Jew and not just saying you are to sound cool? Seriously you strike me more as a muslim than you do a Jew. Your hatred of Israel contradicts the Jewish faith.

You are so stupid. It is following Jesus. Why would you follow someone you don’t believe in. You are so confused. What does salvation mean to you. Do you even know? If you follow Jesus, yet don’t consider Him to be the Son of God, are you a Christian? Here’s the kicker: following Jesus is more important than believing he is the Son of God.

From the Jewish perspective, a Christian is anyone who believes Jesus is the messiah. So, Catholics, Christian Orthodox, and Protestants are all 'Christians' to us. Freon The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity and undoubtedly the least understood member of the Godhead. Christians can easily identify with God the Father (Jehovah or Yahweh) and his Son, Jesus Christ. It’s a mistake to distinguish Jesus from YHWH.

No it is not. Jesus literally says otherwise. This is the chicken before the egg problem too... how exactly do you follow Christ and have salvation, if you don't even believe he is the son of God? You are basically saying it is more important for works than faith. Which is the antithesis to the overall theme of the New Covenant vs the Old.

It’s a mistake to distinguish Jesus from YHWH. And then you blow it. Freon You might disagree, but this is certainly a Christian (or Christian scriptural) point of view. Simply read the Philippine hymn (in Philippians ch. 2), which is likely the oldest Christian piece of literature and compare it to Isaiah 45. It unmistakably equates Jesus with YHWH. As does John the Baptist's proclamation of Jesus as the "coming of YHWH," referencing Isaiah 40. Apparently this view of an "embodied YHWH" coheres with a 1st-century Jewish view of the "two YHWHs in heaven," one of which is "embodied" (as described in Two Powers in Heaven, by Alan F. Segal). That view, of course, was discarded—for obvious reasons.

You are basically saying it is more important for works than faith. Which is the antithesis to the overall theme of the New Covenant vs the Old. Really, eh? Where does Jesus say "believe that I am the Son of God"? Now, if you mean "believe in" as not just an opinion (i.e., believing a certain proposition to be a fact) but as "believing in" to mean "stake your life upon," then I agree with you. But most people don't mean that. They mean "hold this opinion," and many who do so demonstrate no connection between said opinion and the way they live. As for "works vs. faith," that is a false dichotomy that bows to a post-enlightenment reduction of "faith" to "belief." Biblical faith ( pistis) is allegiance and trust, not mere opinion. When this is grasped, it's not difficult to reconcile between Paul's "faith not works" from James's "faith without works is dead." Paul is not talking about "not working"; he's talking about the attempt to gain (and retain) status by works of Torah.

That's dishonest. Besides which, it has less to do with "what people want" than how they perceive reality. That's like implying that you're racist if you recognize that sickle cell anemia attacks people of a certain skin colour and not others.
