So you think that teachers carrying guns and people carrying guns without permits is going to curb or prevent gun violence. You are an idiot Well many states have passed those laws years ago and crime went down. Certainly didn’t go up Crime is down. Murders, on the other hand, rose by 20%.
But stupid you just can't tell the difference.

Yes, it is a proven fact, people with guns stop bad people doing bad things. It is a proven fact, that leaving kids defenseless in schools protected only by idiots like yours wishful thinking and no-gun signs leaves them to be slaughtered until someone with a gun shows up and stops the bad person or the bad person gets tired and stops themselves. the idiocy of the left and democrats is staggering - they think a sign banning guns is going to stop a killer intent on killing from doing what killers do. - they think a good guy who has the right to carry a gun all of a sudden becomes a killer of other good people. Tell us why fools like you ignore the reality that in virtually every mass shooting, and especially those in schools, the guns used were purchased LEGALLY.
So I would say that having a gun DOES turn one into a killer.

Other states have enacted Red Flag Laws, Safe Gun Storage Laws, waiting periods and universal background checks. They've banned or restricted assault rifles and high capacity magazines, raised the age for gun purchases and organized gun-buy back programs. Tennessee has done none of this while they are 11th in the union concerning gun violence. But they do have drag queen legislation. BTW. Arming teachers is not the answer If you want to carry a gun openly or concealed in public in Tennessee, you don't need a permit. As of July 1, 2021, Tennessee is a permit-less carry state. Figuring that many of these mass shootings are happening in schools, arming teachers makes perfect sense.
LMAO.. You stupid gunfuckers don't trust teachers to teach and now you want them to pack heat ..
It's the guns. ...

LOL, 80+ Million people own some 300+ Million guns and your genius conclusion is that having a gun does turn one into a killer? If that were the case, the entire country would be mass bloodshed.

Figuring that many of these mass shootings are happening in schools, arming teachers makes perfect sense. You said they were not doing anything, I pointed out they were. Just not the stuff you think is good legislation. So you think that teachers carrying guns and people carrying guns without permits is going to curb or prevent gun violence. You are an idiot The only reason, and it is a good one, for there to be a permit needed to legally carry a gun is because there is a background check done on that person that wants the permit. And if he was a felon or committed some serious crime, or has a mental record of a problem with violence. That person cannot get a permit. Any normal every day citizen can have that permit to protect themselves from the people that can’t get the permit. I have two permits. Connecticut and Florida. Good in many states. I guess I am normal. And as far as I know. That person guilty of some small crime, after years of no problems, may be able to get that permit even though some years ago he or she made a mistake.

The idea of having to arm teachers to protect students is so ludicrous that the rest of the civilized world thinks we're insane, and they may very well be right.
Hundreds of millions of people around the world are mentally ill. The American exception is that we choose to heavily arm ours.
Then, for the most part ammosexual legislators are the same ones that have slashed mental health funding. Discussion of the "mental health crisis" is most often deflection from reasonable gun control, not actual intent to do anything about mental illness.

What staff? Were they there at the time? Were they armed at the time? I’ve seen the report from the call logs, but no specific details were given. You have more information than that?

I disagree with voting against it. However, they're not going to help transsexuals except the sex they really are.

The fact is that states with lenient gun laws have more gun crime and gun deaths This is not accurate for all states and you are talking about marginal statistical differences as well, which doesn't do anything for the kids in those states with lower gun deaths, that still have gun deaths and mass shootings. I am sure the kids getting killed in those states take some comfort just before getting killed, that marginally speaking, they had a slightly less chance of death from a gun. Congratulations. That absolutely make no sense at all. Nice try
