Winter. Winter is Russia's greatest weapon. They used it against Napoleon to destroy his empire. And they used it against Hitler to destroy his empire. Will they use it against the EU to destroy their empire? The difference now is that where Napoleon and Hitler had to enter Russia as far as Moscow for Russia to use winter against them, now Russia can use winter at a distance through pipelines. Will this be the end of the European Union? Cold German Woman

In a dark, gallows-humor kind of way, I’ve enjoyed watching Western media talk about how bad things are in Russia as they use Western metrics like GDP and net exports.
The Russians have a different understanding of endurance.
They suffer. The Golden Horde. Napolean. Terrible monarchs. Hitler. The deprivations of the Soviet system.
Americans get upset if their soy latte is too cold and need trauma therapy if somebody misgenders them. Western Europeans struggle with working more than 27 hours a week.
This isn’t going to go the way we’re told it’s going to go.

Cold German Woman Winter as an environmental factor against an army on the move doesn't quite equate to winter for civilians in non-waring States suffering gas shortages, but yeah...it could help Russia by giving them more negotiating clout as EU citizens pay high prices for not enough heat. Here's a thought, Russia could end its invasion and leave Ukraine. Problem solved.

Enjoy your zerohedge propaganda. Good argument. Coming from you, that means nothing.

Coming from you, that means nothing. I still think it’s important to compliment a strong argument, even if the compliment is rudely rejected.

...and global respect ... and 30K to 50K soldiers in battle ... and billions worth of military equipment ... and billions in foreign investments for Russia's economy ... and dignity & honor

Seems like a good place for this.
And a reminder that ... as winter draws near and this long meter by meter counteroffensive progresses, it is Ukraine that is moving supplies from West to East and Russia that is in bunkered and fortified positions standing still waiting for them to come.
Gonna be time to bump my 6 years to the day thread pretty soon.
