So... who has the power to delete threads here? Under what circumstances will they be deleted?
You guys love to brag this place is some uncensored open forum where folks can say what they want, but then threads mysteriously disappear.
No warnings, no information as to why, they are just gone.

There was a thread where Dave and I had turned it into little more than just posting back and forth nonsense that vanished several weeks ago. I don't care about that one, but it was odd. I figured it vanished because it turned into a complete dumpster fire. 2. Maybe a week ago now, there was a thread that runswithscissors and I were having a discussion in regarding the Rolling Stones free concert back in 1969 where the Hells Angels ran security and several people died. We were talking about no one blaming Jagger for that and I had provided several posts with great details on how folks did indeed blame Jagger at the time. I have no idea what happened to that thread. I just know I can't find it and every search I run for any of those key words like Jagger, Hells Angels, etc... turns up squat. That thread is gone. I had another discussion where one other forum member corroborated this thread did indeed exist and I believe greg claimed to be the author as well, and that he had not deleted it. |
